If the world was made of yarn
What a world that would be.
To feel the sun's silky strands
And swim in a cashmere sea.
If yarn grew on trees
Let me tell you, my friend
Of all the extra money
I would have to spend!
Happy Friday everyone.
Cheers, Nikki
PS: Anyone out there have any tips for untangling yarn?

Loved your poem!
ReplyDeleteAs for untangling yarn, my only advice is a good DVD and a large glass of wine!
Fab poem, and I love the pictures :)
ReplyDeleteI believe there is actually a group on ravelry who enjoy untangling yarn, you send it to someone and they send it back neatly wound!
Brilliant picture. Very artistic.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture. I forget that yarn can be used other ways than to knit or weave.
ReplyDeleteUntangling yarn? Oh, I'm not the one to ask...I use scissors.
Fab poem and fab picture!
ReplyDeleteCute poem. You should just spray glue that yarn down and put it on the wall...or whatever would actually work. I've never actually tried spray glue.
ReplyDeleteLOVE! The poem and the yarn painting.
ReplyDeleteI understand there is a group on Ravelry that will untangle yarn for you.

ReplyDeleteI love your yarn painting and poem. Both are so clever and creative. Good luck untangling the yarn!
ReplyDeleteThe key to untangling yarn is to have a very patient Husband who will sneak and untangle it for you while you're away from home...good luck!
